My formal training is in contemporary art and photography, yet my professional experience after school started off as an investment broker. After a few years, realizing that the trust buyers look for has to be built, not just advertised, I started in cybersecurity and IT support.
That combination is what lets me wear several hats on the same project (security engineer, AI architect, product designer and marketing director) with no handoffs to dilute the work.
