Privacy Policy & Terms of Service

How DATRUM collects, uses, and protects your data — and the rules of the road when you use jldatrum.com. Written so you can scan it. For the operational detail behind these claims, see /security.

Version 2.0 · Effective 2026-05-26 · Replaces v1.0 (March 2026)

Who we are

DATRUM is a marketing and data engineering agency operated by Julio Luque Valdés, based in Ciudad de Panamá, Panama. We design distribution systems for professional services firms — websites, funnels, AI-search optimization, and analytics.

What we do NOT collect

How we use your data

We do not sell your data, share it with advertising networks, or use it for unsolicited marketing campaigns.

Who we share data with

Only with subprocessors we have contracted to operate the service — Cloudflare, Google Analytics (if you consent), GitHub, thum.io, Calendly, plus our own Cloudflare Worker storage. The full list, what each one receives, and where they store it, is on the subprocessors page.

We do not transfer data to third parties for their own marketing purposes. Period.

Your rights as a data subject

Whether you're in Panama (Ley 81) or the EU/EEA (GDPR), you have the right to:

To exercise any right, email [email protected] with your name, the email you used with us, and a brief description of what you're asking for. We respond within 15 working days (Ley 81) or 30 days (GDPR) — whichever is shorter for your case.

How long we keep your data

Cookies & tracking

To change your choice, click "Cookies" in the footer to reopen the banner.

International data transfers

Some subprocessors (Google, Cloudflare, GitHub, Calendly) are US-based. Transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (where the subprocessor is certified) and on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as a backup. Cloudflare edge processing happens regionally where possible.

Changes to this policy

We update this page when our practices change. The version number and effective date at the top are the source of truth. Material changes will be noted on /security with a date. Continuing to use the site after the effective date means you accept the changes.

Contact & complaints

If you're not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Autoridad Nacional de Transparencia y Acceso a la Información (ANTAI) — Panama's data protection authority — at antai.gob.pa. EU/EEA residents can also contact their local supervisory authority.
